Nick completed a Master’s Degree in Applied Exercise Physiology at Columbia University in New York City where he researched the effects of head race training on VO2 max and asymmetries in the limb lengths of rowers. Nick’s industry knowledge and background in various water sport communities makes him a passionate advocate for water sports and helping athletes achieve their goals. Nick and his partner Hayley have made Auckland their home, where they share an enthusiasm for being on the water through sailing and kayaking.

About Director, Nick Dawe
Nick Dawe is a retired elite rower who competed twice as a lightweight at the Senior World Rowing Championships. His coaching career spans over 14 years and includes a gold medal at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships. He has developed dozens of athletes to make age-representative and elite national teams.Nick completed a Master’s Degree in Applied Exercise Physiology at Columbia University in New York City where he researched the effects of head race training on VO2 max and asymmetries in the limb lengths of rowers.
